Our nursery provides inclusive and engaging childcare for two to four year olds.

We nurture your child, helping them to develop a love of learning and prepare for the next stages of their education and future lives. We seize opportunities to take learning beyond the classroom, enabling our children to broaden their experiences.

Our nursey being part of the primary school provides many advantages:

• The children benefit from the school’s indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Expert teachers help design engaging learning experiences that ignite children’s curiosity and love of learning.
• The nursery and the school share resources so all children enjoy a wide range of educational activities.
• Because they have had a positive experience of being in a school, the children find the transition to Reception easier and less scary.

Session times

• Early start session: 8:45 am – 9:15 am
• Morning session, plus lunch: 9:15 am – 12:15 pm
• Afternoon session, without lunch: 12:15 pm – 3:15 pm
• Whole day session, without early start: 9:15 am – 3:15 pm

Session prices

The current hourly rate for our sessions are:

• Two year olds: £7.00 per hour
• Three to four year olds: £6.50 per hour
• Children are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home or order and pay for a cooked dinner via the MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) app. The cost of a cooked lunch is currently £2.80. We do not charge for non-food consumables or activities.

Payable through the Interactive Nursery Manager app.

We also accept payment through Tax-Free Childcare and Fair Care vouchers.

Childcare support

The Government provides universal 15 hours-funded childcare for three and four year olds to attend an early-year setting for 38 weeks of the year. Children become eligible to receive this funding the term after their third birthday.

Parents who are eligible and meet the criteria can apply for working parent funding, meaning a child can attend for a total of 30 hours funded by the government. Other parents of two-year-olds may be eligible for 15 hours of government funding if they receive some additional forms of support.

Nursery checklist

It would be really helpful if:

• Children can keep wellies at Nursery and Preschool
• As many belongings as possible are named, i.e. coats, water bottles, snack containers
• Avoid bringing precious toy items and wearing ‘best clothes’ as we like messy play!
• Please provide your child with a named, healthy snack and a water bottle, which children will have mid-morning.
