English & Mathematics — advancing fluency and reasoning

Weekly Highlights

PE Days: Monday and Thursday – children should come to school in full PE kit
Reading: Children are expected to read at home daily and bring their reading book and diary every day
Spelling & Times Tables: Weekly practice at home – tasks will be shared on Seesaw
Homework: Set via Seesaw – short, manageable tasks linked to class learning

Reminders for a Smooth Week

Label everything – uniform, bottles, bags, and books!
Bring a filled water bottle each day
Weather-ready clothing – sun hats in hot weather, coats and wellies when it’s wet
No toys or personal items unless specifically requested
