Bedminster Down School Special Educational Needs (SEND) Information Report 2025-26

Our mission

At Bedminster Down School, our mission is to enable all young people to flourish and enjoy future success by realising their full potential.  To achieve this ambition, we are committed to developing inclusive practices that ensure every child receives the support they need.

Students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Students have a Special Educational Need or Disability if they need support in or have difficulty in accessing the curriculum that is in addition to, or different from, other students of their age.  This can be a temporary or long-term issue.

Bedminster Down School Special Educational Needs (SEND) Information Report answers most of the key questions a parent or carer of a student with SEND may have.  Please click here to download the Report.

Our SEND policy gives more information.  Please navigate to our policies page for more information.
