School Closure

Should the weather take a turn for the worse, we will continue to do our very best to keep the school open. However, if for health and safety reasons we are unable to do so, we will follow our Emergency Closure procedure and inform parents in the following ways:

We appreciate that any change to normal school routine including school closure causes many parents child-care difficulties. We will only ever close the school if conditions pose a significant risk to pupils’ and staff safety and well-being as your child’s safety is of paramount importance to us. The decision to close will always be made as soon as possible.
