There are many other ways in which our children support each other during the school day. This makes school life happier and giving children the opportunity to help promotes a collective responsibility for the success of the school.

In the morning, our ‘wake and shake’ team lead regular activity sessions (often to music) to get the day off to a positive start.

At playtime our playground leaders support other children with their play and the use of our ‘Huff and Puff’ equipment.

At lunchtime, each KS2 class takes a turn to support the EYFS and KS1 classes a week at a time, both in the dinner hall and on the playground.

Every Year 6 child is encouraged to take a monitor role such as distributing school milk or helping in the library.
