Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is extra funding given to schools to help support children who may face barriers to learning. It helps make sure that all pupils have the same opportunities to achieve their best.
Schools receive this funding for children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) now, or who have been eligible at any time in the past six years (this is called ‘Ever 6 FSM’).
Funding is also provided for children who are in care or have been adopted from care, and for children with a parent serving in the armed forces (this is called the Service Pupil Premium).
If you think your child might be entitled to free school meals, please complete a Free School Meals online application or contact the school office for assistance on 01275 875607.
