We are a Church of England School and we greatly value our Religion and Worldviews lessons as times when children can explore and better understand their own and other people’s experiences of human life, its aspirations, times of celebration, problems and challenges.

We follow a scheme created by Futura Learning Partnership which reflects the Trust’s Religion and Worldviews curriculum. Please click here for the long term overview. 

The Trust scheme has been developed to take into account the locally agreed syllabus from BANES and the Church of England Statement of Entitlement 

The Trust scheme ensures the pupils experience 50% Christianity units with units covering other world religions as well as non- religious worldviews.

Religion and Worldviews is an inclusive subject with many possibilities for cross curricular learning e.g. music, history, drama and art. Please see our Religion and Worldviews policy here.

We have very strong links with SACRE, the local organisation that oversees the teaching of Religion and Worldviews.
