2026 Summer Term Important Diary Dates

Wednesday 22nd April	Eco Day – Children will be exploring the importance of looking after the environment.
Monday 18th to Friday 24th May	Health & Welling Week –Your child will spend the week focusing on this topic and engaging in activities to promote their health and wellbeing.
Friday 22nd May (Reserve date – Friday 5th June)	Sports Day – Sports Day will take place outside and start at 9.15am. In the unfortunate event that the weather is not suitable on the day, we will have to postpone Sports Day and will then reschedule for our reserve date.
Friday 22nd May	Charity Day – Each school team will be raising money for a different charity during the afternoon.
Monday 25th – Friday 29th May	Half Term – 1 Week off school
Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th June	Bikeability – Year 5 will be taking part in Bikeability.
Thursday 11th June	Careers Fair – We will be hosting a careers fair for our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils and takes place from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.
Friday 12th June	Inset Day
Thursday 25th June	Summer BBQ – Our very popular annual Summer BBQ will take place outside (weather permitting) and start at 5pm.
Monday 29th June	Inset Day
Wednesday 1st July	Class Move Up Day – The is an opportunity for your child to spend the day with their new classroom teacher and teaching assistants in their new classroom.
Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th July	Year 5 & 6 Production – Performances will be taking place on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning and evening. More detail to follow.
Thursday 16th July	Year 6 Prom – A time for the years 6’s to relax and enjoy one last party together and celebrate the time they have spent at Northgate Primary School.
Friday 17th July	Leaver Service & Last Day of School – Our service to celebrate and reflect on the children’s time spent at Northgate Primary School.
Monday 20th July to Wednesday 2nd September	Summer Holidays
