Hundreds of Futura colleagues participated in networks and training to boost pupil outcomes, reduce workload, and enhance wellbeing when they attended our second Collaboration Day of the year.
The Collaboration Day took place on July 4th, both online and in person, at Chestnut Park, Mary Elton, and Yeo Moor schools. Participants took part in training and collaborative sessions designed for primary and secondary teachers. Additionally, all colleagues had the chance to attend wellbeing training focused on menopause, menstruation, and stress management.
Futura’s Talent Development Coordinator, Vikki Shaw, had a warm message for everyone involved in the setup and delivery of the event: ‘It was great that colleagues were able to come together to share ideas and support each other’s learning. That only happens because of the thought and care you bring to what you do.’
Chestnut Park’s Headteacher, Emmee Standeven, was impressed with how well the event ran: ‘I just wanted to send a massive thank you for everything the organisers did to make today’s Collaboration Day such a success. The planning and support in the lead-up were outstanding, and the day itself ran so smoothly – it was a real credit to everyone involved.’
The event was part of Futura’s commitment to providing amazing trust-wide development opportunities. A special thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up and deliver the Collaboration Day.
Thank you also to all participants for engaging in conversations, sharing ideas, and being open to new ways of working.
