The Futura Middle Leader Programme’s final session took place at the end of term 4. The programme, which ran over three sessions, equipped new and aspiring leaders with the skills and confidence to succeed, including developing a vision, accountability, and leading staff.

Feedback from all participants was very positive. One participant appreciated the opportunity to develop their vision: ‘Developing my vision has been incredibly inspiring and challenging as well! It is guiding my practice, and I’m getting more used to using it to support management.’

Other participants recognised the impact on their confidence: ‘It has increased my confidence massively and inspired me in my role as a leader in school.’ And: ‘This training has been insightful and improved my confidence by giving me effective tools.’ Thank you to CPLD leads Lois Lambkin and Viv Wadsley for planning and delivering the programme. In the words of one participant: ‘The training was extremely beneficial and well carried out by both Viv and Lois. The content was well-planned and made me think throughout.’
