Sir Bernard Lovell Academy students had audiences cheering for more as they staged an unforgettable School of Rock.
The school was alive with music, energy, and rock ’n’ roll as the cast gave incredible performances over three evening shows and a daytime one for 150 primary school pupils.
Leading the way in the high-energy, feel-good production was the phenomenal Amelie C in the role of Dewey Finn, bringing humour, heart, and powerhouse vocals to the stage. Backed by an outstanding cast, every student gave their all, creating a show bursting with passion and dedication. A special shout-out goes to the talented band members—Alfie T, Jack M, Lucas E, and Ellie W, who provided fantastic live music throughout the production.
Behind the scenes, a huge thank you goes to choreographers, Amelia P and Penny S, who brought the show to life with their brilliant routines. None of this would have been possible without the incredible stagehands, tech team, and set design crew, who worked tirelessly to ensure smooth scene transitions, stunning lighting, and an immersive set.
