A huge congratulations to all ten Futura PGTA (post-graduate teaching apprenticeship) trainees from our 2024-25 cohort who have all achieved a distinction in their end-point assessment.
In the end-point assessment, they had to provide an evidence portfolio aligned with the teacher standards, complete an observation, and then have a professional discussion with the assessor.
Five of these trainees now work in Futura schools and have started their ECT journeys. Congratulations to Michaela Fitzgerald at Two Rivers, Jess Bryant and Charlotte Crook at Woolavington, and two at Northgate, including Emily Moreton
The PGTA is a school-based training route that combines paid classroom experience with academic study, leading to Qualified Teacher Status and a postgraduate qualification.
