• Free school meal (FSM) students receive £3.00 per day credited to their account.

Cashless catering (MCAS)

SBL uses My Child at School (MCAS) for meals and payments.

• Top up online
• £5 daily spend limit (adjustable)
• FSM students receive £3/day credited before lunch

Finger imaging is used to create a secure mathematical template (not stored fingerprints).

FSM provides up to £3.00 per day for meals and helps secure additional school funding.

Benefits:

• Free or subsidised meals
• Approx. £400 annual savings
• Additional school funding

We encourage eligible families to apply even if meals are not taken.

Eligibility

You may qualify if you receive:

• Universal credit (≤ £7,400 net income/year)
• Income support
• Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
• Income-related employment and support allowance
• Immigration and Asylum support
• Pension credit (guaranteed element)
• Child tax credit (income ≤ £16,190, no working tax credit)
• Working tax credit run-on

Registration is confidential and does not affect other benefits.
